I didn't see the ruling either, but it's pretty easy to get a default judgment if someone doesn't show up LOL.

The recourse would likely be if the Plaintiff tries to enforce the judgment against the defendants. They could then challenge the jurisdiction of the court issuing the original judgment in the state where the plaintiff is seeking enforcement. Problem there is that if they lose on the jurisdiction issue, they could not challenge the merits of the case. IMO.
