I'l have to say to all that this has been a remarkable "town meeting" for the past week. It has been a pleasure to meet all involved, and it wouldn't have been as fun and informative if it had been more civil, IMO. I think the issues have become pretty well defined during the past couple of days in particular, to my great relief.

I know we've spent a significant little slice of our "free time" experiencing this little footnote to history. The tenacity shown by all in continuing to attend to the daily postings is no doubt contributing to this successful closure.

Steve, I'll bet things are not over for you on this issue, as you pursue a just resolution from JW. I wish you success and fair compensation.

Obviously my criticisms of your past "persona" has not been presented to win you as a friend. On the other had, I'll say that it's been great to read your well-prepared and temperate responses to those of us who have been less than civil toward you. I applaud you for your restraint in this forum. With luck, we'll continue to bump into each other on other threads where I would hope to set aside the past and engage in a friendly reparte.

And now on to...
As I was driving home from work anticipating my visit to this board, I started laughing as a mental picture evolved from the following thoughts:

JW's retreat is comical. Having planted both feet in his mouth, his lawyer surely advised to keep them there. Best way to shut him up in his own best interests. Feet thus positioned, he couldn't even backpedal effectively. Now, here's this guy engaged in a contortionist's fantasy balanced on his chair, wobbling back and forth uncertainly (in his underwear like lots of us, of course), struggling to get to his keyboard to post just one more self-damaging comment. Fear widens his eyes as he realizes he's about to roll off his chair, AND HE CAN"T LAND FEET FIRST!!! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Cheers to all @SI !!!
