I should have been clearer.

The oil sands are up in Alberta. Their dirty operations really don't affect people's lives in the US. (in other words, they are preferable) In Peak Oil, the production runs through existing infrastructure.

LNG, coal...these are replacements. New building, right here in the US.

Well, you made a comment about oil sands, and I pointed out it was not that simple. It's not about whether people will pay a higher price for gasoline instead of driving an electric car. Look at people's behavior!

So, go ahead and 'ROTFLMAO'
