Its positivive if it means they are moving away from violence but a violent group can still have a political party (see IRA / Sien Fien, for one well known example)


Yup. That's true. However, in N. Ireland, its duality is more suspect because things are not as corrupted as in the ME.

Frankly, I think the problem with Sinn Fein is that its participants have become such trained, killer coverts that there is nothing else they can do for a living. It looks like they are trying to maintain their 'job security' as bizarre as that may sound.
