The coal and oil lobbyists are loving the public's ignorance of nuclear plants. They know how amazing an amount of enriched nuclear fuel can superheat water to generate power and have an effluent, water, friendly to every creature that swims in it. The coal that comes from Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and others is loaded with high sulphur that chokes the life out of those who have to breath that air.
We still have N.P. down here in plants that are old now, and still producing power.

Just imagine new, current tech. that can achieve even more safe power without dependency for off-shore oil supply. This power is so efficient and affordable we would have to have a Mr. Smith Goes To Washington to get it through.
The Saudis would freak. The Middle East would freak. They did when we were in full production of nuclear, and now they are pursuing it for their own people. Remember gas wars?
They ain't no dummies, and every time you read of them going for their own N.P. plants don't buy into the thought they just want weapon-powered weapons from the current technology.
They just sit back and laugh at Bush and his cronies.
Well we'll face the facts sooner or later. It's not like a meteor is going to whack us in a couple months.
Our politicians will milk us for trillions first.
