Your thinking is way, way out of the mainstream.

I read WSJ article (I think from Friday, or perhaps Monday) at home today, it was about Blair's view on things in Iraq now. He seems to echo what I've been writing for the past few days (basic human rights deserve defending, sometime via force) regardless of in which country the human rights violation takes place.

I don't think its so out of the mainstream. In fact, I think many people feel that that is one of the UN's primary responsibilities (prevent situations like the current one in Darfur), but the UN is failing to execute its responsibilities. If the UN (which should do it) fails, someone else should take up the slack. That leaves us.
