Well, I'm giving you factual numbers and you come back with anecdotal info about how it doesn't "feel" like an expansion. What I can tell you is that for my staff, who work all over the country, they tell me it feels like the 90's when there was more work than they could handle. I'm hiring consultants on at a very brisk pace too. So to me it sure feels like the 90's again, except for the bubble in the stock market.

I think this expansion is more selective. It isn't hitting all areas of the country all at once and it isn't hitting all sectors of the economy at once. However, in the last few Fed beige books, Greenspan has said that all sectors ARE expanding, some at a faster pace than others.

So your own experience is probably an anomaly vs the overall trend.
