I still maintain that the message of Jesus was very simple, easy to understand, and doesn't take a great deal of effort to follow,if one's heart has a clear view of the the intentions. It is all in the interpretation. I agree with you that the message of Jesus was very simple. He taught love. He taught us to love our neighbors - no matter what. He couldn't be any clearer. Don't kill your neighbors - no matter what happens. Love thy neighbor. Love conquers all. But a lot of Christians have different interpretations.
