<Not a single Democrat politician ever doubted he had the WMD>

The Congress was duped IMO and didn't do their Due Diligence. Who would have thought that there was an anti-Iraq agenda waiting in the wings and that the attack of 9/11 would be used to light the fuse for a neo-Con agenda?

I disagreed from the beginning and if we listened to the inspectors, we wouldn't have gone in. Will the world be better off with Saddam? We'll have to wait and see. Just like the Balkans blew up in the power vacuum left behind Soviet displacement, we could see the ME blow the same way. How many fronts do we want to fight?

The fact is that Kim Jong-Il DOES have nuclear weapons. So does Pakistan (who cooperated with terrorist nations to build or acquire fissile material. These venues have a lot greater impact upon the US than Iraq. If it was so important to defeat Iraq, why did we give them (or allow them access to) chemical precursors to kill Iranians? Why is Rummy shaking Saddam's hand? That looks like the act of a traitor!
