Does anyone else but me start grinning slyly at the statement attributed to Dr J. when announcing his retirement?......."I am especially excited by what is yet to come"...... :-) I'm no techie, just a long time QCOM investor and admirer of Dr. J. Look, he's sly like a fox, and QCOM is HIS baby!! There's NO WAY he would have stepped down if there was even an inkling of trouble on the horizon, in my opinion. He's stayed at it this long, not for the money, but because it is his passion! The more I contemplate this week's news, the better I'm sleeping at night, knowing that Dr J. would only leave with QCOM firing on all cylinders. The latest news regarding QCOM's lead in hspda is just one more confirmation that good times are coming. I think Dr. J stepping down is a signal to back up the truck and start loading up :-)
