You want to watch an interesting short squeeze, follow OVIS, in which some SI participants are conspiring to buy up more shares than the number outstanding and require delivery of the certificates so as to force the shorts to deliver shares that don't exist. This is clearly illegal, and the SEC will no doubt investigate and prosecute, but it is interesting. OVIS has gone from about 3/8 to 3 1/2 in the last 13 trading sessions, or up 1000%. Reminds me of the 1860's and the Erie Railroad.
