Yes, I know that Laz can be abrasive. I have been away from SI for a week, and the flaming has not subsided. It is my perception that you and I have both been equally uncivil towards each other. I occasionally apologize. It is not a trait that has been evident in the other direction.

Why do you think the flaming hasn't stopped? You and others defend the coulters of the world..........do you have any idea the anger she or hannity or o'reilly or any of the other obnoxious, sick, over the top right wing pundits stir up in the left? And please don't tell me there are lefties who do the same. They are pikers compared to these monsters.

You seem like a good person but trust me, this constant and antagonistic sparring on the part of rightie pundits will keep the schism wide open and deep. In fact, Bush manages to do that all on his own. And there is another matter........when are you guys going to realize that Bush is hurting this country badly, economically, politically and internationally?
