What, pray tell, about his record as governor impressed you? Admittedly parts were pretty creative. Like when his friends complained to him about pollution laws being, you know, enforced, he cut out all the funds for monitoring. So, without data on pollution levels, they couldn't be prosecuted for polluting unless TNRCC or TCEQ paid for the monitoring out of other funds. Though, I suppose they could have gotten a corporate sponsorship...
