lots of dumb luck involved with my recent ndx trades, like not getting stopped out the other day and adding this am. re: the dollar there was/is a massive decline with a strong trend in place. i see any farther decline not in terms of magnitude but speed. the faster it happens the more dislocation there will be. an argentina or thailand type event in the dollar is an outlier event, imo, but i've already diversified a portion of my cash into foreign bank accounts a few years ago and have a hope for the best, prepare for the worst, attitude. higher interest rates will help to squash all the wanton speculation with EZ money out there. no, not playing this bounce, wish i were. got stopped out the rest of my ndx in the noon hour and just been drinking some beer and watching a movie since. i've learned to step back a bit and take it easy after booking a big day with hours to go. it could go either way for the rest of the day on my chart, and hope my long/short stocks and puts will participate.
