Jeff That really wasn't the issue. Sony is certainly one of the most well known and respected names in the world. Well beyond the level of Apple. Yes Apple has had some recent success but it still is far from Sonys level. Many seem to forget how big Sony is in the consumer electronics and media world. Sony is a major player everywhere Apple is certainly aware even, if it's shareholder don't understand.
