Well, I agree and disagree. I think she hits on a large truth when she says we can't be the PRIMARY agent of change. I think that is true going forward. However, we have already been the CATALYST for change. Meaning, that through our actions in Iraq and Afghanistan, we have awakened the desire of the Arab street to move from talk to action in order to move towards Democracy. The rest really is up to them.

I think everyone has to recognize that we can't attack every country in the Middle East. But what I do believe is that Iraq was necessary. The region needed a shake up and Iraq did the trick. Where the pieces land will be up the people in the region. Hopefully, they choose freedom and Democracy and are willing to enforce their will with their blood. If not, then they don't stand a chance.
