Of course, I can understand how the notion of "Jewish survival" appealingly resonates with the racist mindset of the Bible belt: "angry white churchgoers" too anguish about the survival of the white race.... But then, look at the Gypsies: did the Gypsies ever care about their "survival"? And if they did, did they likewise find solace under some empire's aegis? Were the Gypsies ever able to secure their survival by aligning themselves to a "sympathetic" power? No, no, and no. Ever since their westward thrust out of India, Gypsies have been on their own... for the past 1,000 years --they too have survived! Perhaps Jews ought to take a leaf out of the Gypsies' book?
