If you want to call Michael a spoiled rotten brat who believes he can get away with anything and has been caught doing just that, I might agree. Commit suicide? Let 'im. Saves the rest of us the expense of a very expensive trial. Further that it was time for his lawyer to plea bargain on lesser charges like serving liquor to minors as the psychological impact of this trail was too overwhelming for the sensitive nature of Michael. Using justification like this, I could get Heffrey Dahmer off. He often got his vicyims drunk or drugged before killing them. He further stated that prior to any public appearance M. had to be completely made up. He wears a wig... has to always look perfect for the world and is obsessive about this. Then it's time he grew up fast. He's in the criminal justice system now. He appealed to the humanity in people to see M. as a person who was very ill and not put him through the vindictiveness of the Court system,hateful prosecutor and machinations that were currently going on. Jackson is charged with SERIOUS crimes, Suma. Serious. Was it OK when Richard Allen Davis came through Polly Klaas's bedroom wondow and kidnapped her? You think maybe he didn't have a rough life, but no worldwide fame and no fans who would blindly support him NO MATTER WHAT? Prosecutors are SUPPOSED to be vindicative, Suma. That's their job. They seek vindication for the victims who often can no longer speak for themselves. The fact (or lack of such) that Jackson is a wimp that cannot deal with the consequences of his actions is no concern of the public criminal justice system. It's job is to get him behind bars where he can hurt no more young kids. Do THEY deserve no consideration in this? I saw things from another perspective after listening to this former close friend. There are always 3 sides to every story. Your side. My side. And the truth.
