It's 11 March, 2005, here in Chicago and, thanks to that big bulge from Canada stretching down here and further south for going on two weeks, it has been damn cold. We even had another 3-4 inches of snow last night.

But my dog, Mr B, although from South Africa, loves the cold weather. And it keeps my 75 year old brain functioning at full blast.

Since I am a long time holder of QCOM, I heartily endorse turning its future cash machine into the printer of the national currency. Of course, this doesn't mean that that currency will be in the form of QCOM stock. We don't want any further dilution. Hurray that Jacobs and company are even investing 2 billion dollars in current cash profits in their own company by buying back outstanding shares.

Onward and upward. And may the favorable sun continue to shine on New Zealand.
