<I heartily endorse turning its future cash machine into the printer of the national currency>

Andrew, I don't mean national currency - I mean ALL currency. Also, I don't mean turning the shares or income into currency, I mean an all-new, singing and dancing, with bells and whistles, with only design costs required from QCOM coffers.

No backing required in the olde sense of gold, or assets; just as English language has enormous value with zero backing - it's a fully fiat currency for exchange of information.

The value comes from Metcalfe's Law and the value of the medium resulting from the needs of people. The same as normal fiat state kleptocracy currencies, but where ownership of the currency resides with the holders of the currency.

This is a declaration of war against state currencies.
