mph, I have lived in two developments with HOAs. I made sure I got myself on the BODs at both, which was easy enough to do. After all, few are really chomping at the bit to get on an HOA BOD. I did what I could to keep some of the other board members from going overboard with what they thought should be done. Sometimes, I even succeeded. <g> - Holly
