A rant I like. jenmartinez.com ....There are a couple things wrong with this picture that frankly piss me off. Nichols was being escorted to the courtroom by one female deputy. That is problem #1. That's part of that women's lib bullshit. Some jobs are better left to men and that's my opinion. Now you may wonder exactly how Nichols was able to overpower the female deputy. Why, he wasn't shackled or handcuffed, that's how! Get a load of this: The law requires that defendants on trial not be handcuffed as they enter the courtroom, to make sure the sight of cuffs doesn't unfairly influence the jury. Can you believe that shit? That is without a doubt a lame ass fucking liberal policy. Another one of their "feel good" rules and laws and good people suffer and die because of it. The shootings occurred after the judge and prosecutors had requested extra security for deputies after investigators found a shank in each of Nichols' shoes yesterday, Great, extra security = one female escort and no handcuffs or leg irons because the jury might get the wrong idea. How and why did this happen? Why is Nichols still at large? Obviously the system has failed!!!
