The oil in ANWAR is only a trivial, band-aid solution that only puts off the problem by a few months. Are you not happy until we drain every bit of domestic oil, leaving NOTHING for future generations? Oh, that's right. It's only your current self-indulgence that counts.

The long term solution is conservation and efficiency, which Cheney loathes, hybrid cars, which Bush mocked in the first campaign, and renewables like wind and solar. It doesn't matter if you like the long term solutions. There will eventually be no choice.
