I got a nasty hijacker a while back and the Giant program (which MSFT bought) was the only thing that would get rid of it. Still pays to run through all the others, though. AVN is free and does a good job. I also use Adaware (make sure you have latest version) and spybot. But since I have been using Firefox no problems.
