Gee they ceratinly had enough money to give one million dollars for free trading Reg D shares and spend hundreds of thousands promoting their scheme.

The defendants argue against the asset freeze order "serious and permanent reputational harm and deprivations that defendants suffer by having their assets frozen which impairs their ability to retain counsel of their choice, support their families, and engage in commerce"

As far as attorney of choice, It is known that highly experienced former SEC attorneys are most often retained by promoters.
