But of curse liberals are always polite and reasonable, its just the conservatives who use insults and put downs...

Yeah, mostly......and its not just Coulter. She's simply an extreme example of the genre.

In fact, I am embarrassed when a liberal goes up against a conservative. This acute, bullpit, underhanded, attacking style used by the new right is so foreign to most liberals, they come off looking sheepish. They are getting better at it but its not second nature like it seems to be with most conservatives. I know I had to learn how it works.

In fact, in every day activities, I can tell if a person is from the right by simply watching to see how abrasive they are. I test my theory by saying......ahhh, another Bush voter. They're not even smart enough to ask me how I could possibly know. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule but not many in this case.

Frankly, at this point, it doesn't matter to me whether you all get this or not. I am simply identifying one of the things that is causing the profound schism in this country.
