Ammo is on his way home for his last Spring break. He called this morning panicked because he couldn't find his wallet, which he needs for his id to get on the plane. He swore he left it in his pants pocket. An hour later he called to say he had found it. Apparently during the night the chinchillas had dragged it out of the pants pocket and taken it back to their cage where they tried to eat it. ("They're so cute," he says affectionately.) Luckily they didn't get to the IDs. I think I already mentioned that they ate all the buttons off his cell phone, so I imagine the wallet is looking the worse for wear. I just cannot imagine the way my child lives. And I guess I really don't want to.
