Well, what's the word for a manager that dismisses a solid performance with results, because his report-in happens to be from the 'other' political party? A person's performance rises above all else. On a different note, don't worry too much about a manager that unfairly takes all the credit because eventually the system catches this. Over time, people will remember and want to work with the guy that did the work, not the manager that took all the credit, but a manager should get credit too for managing something that worked out well.
