More... I quit the day job after I finally accepted my "career" was going nowhere. Being passed over for promotion in favor of younger people (several of whom had relatives high up in the company) was the wake up call. When I also realized I didn't give a rat's ass about doing a good job any more, and that I was spending more time on stocks than work and nobody seemed to notice, well, you get the idea. We all have our breaking point, and I sure hit mine. As I like to say to friends, "They relentlessly fcked me over until I left, and I didn't even have the decency to thank them."* CD
