So did they ever decide what caused the light in the sky? I assume meteorite or satellite.

I was just reading about meteors, meteorites, and meteoroids. Apparently it's relatively rare for a meteor to actually hit the ground (meteorite). Usually they burn up.

I've got a very nice meteorite that's about three inches long, and looks sort of like a finger bone, and sort of like a tear drop. I bet that was pretty when it fell.
