The major tenet of Buddhism is the illusory nature of life and that life brings suffering. They also say that excessive materialism leaves you spriritually blind, grasping for the illusion. They hit that one right on the head. You are nothing at the atom layer - it is illusion - about as much density as smoke. The smoke is made of really dense particles, though, but it is smoke non-the-less. That is what I was talking about.
