I've got a lot of black friends too - People that I like and respect! I still can't help feeling, though, that their achievements were made by individuals. As a race, they are a disgrace! They have been here for centuries and are still the dregs of society, whereas countless ethnic groups have come to this country during this time and passed them on the social ladder. Skin color has nothing to do with it. These other waves of immigrants blend in with society by the second generation, but the blacks refuse to blend in - they want to isolate themselves by creating a society within a society. EBONICS as a second language! And what the hell is Kwanza? They decided they wanted a holiday to call their own so the made one up! During the debates over the removal of the stars and bars from the SC state flag they made up a flag of their own and wanted it flown over the State Capital along with the national and state flags. Why does every city have to have a MLK Blvd? I remember that bum! He wouldn't take a piss unless he was flanked by he state police and the national guard! Jackie Robinson? Great ballplayer and a helluva gentleman, but how about giving a little credit to Branch Rickey for sticking his neck out and bringing him out of the Negro leagues! I guess that's what this post is all about...giving credit ONLY where credit is due and giving respect to people that EARN it - not demand it!
