WHO just acknowledge (tonight) that the clustering in Thai Binh may be signalling a genetic change in the virus (code word for the start of the pandemic)

news.google.com

The WHO comments are welcome, but are two months late. They just got confirmation of cases that have been in the media since January and are using that as an excuse for being 2 months late.

However, there has been a news blackout of cases in the south for over a month (started just before Tet), so its hard to say how bad it is, but it is definitely bad.
