Update from WHO on cases, deaths: who.int

<11 March 2005

Country/ Territory Total cases Deaths
Cambodia 1 1
Thailand 17 12
Viet Nam 51 33
Total 69 46

Down to 67% mortality, plus a few more who haven't yet died I suppose but are in the 69 total, so I guess about 75% still. Still, that's better than the previous report. Not that 2:3 people dying is a particularly good result.

Previously:

<2 February 2005

Country/ Territory Total cases Deaths
Cambodia 1 1
Thailand 17 12
Viet Nam 37 29
Total 55 42

55 cases, 42 deaths = 76% death rate and I suppose as with sars, a couple of those are hanging in the balance and could die. That's 80% death rate.
