They sense the change in acceleration and park the head now. That's what makes an ipod survive a teenager's abuse. But, I still agree with you about flash. It's getting faster and cheaper.

The change of heart at BS makes sense since they miss called it the first time. Guess they were a little too nervous on point after Y2K's bloodbath.
