Hi Mq:

a) deciding on the bandwith of the channel: ears 20kHz, eyes 6MHz, if we stick with the TV channels (probably higher), typing ... er ... 100 (meaninful) chars / minute. How much? If the doors of perception ('no, Will, it "communication"!') were cleansed, everything would appear as it is, infinite. Can we handle that?

b) How do you expect the channel to handle hierarchical thinking, double entendres, humour, self referrals, when plugging in way up the feed/thought chain.

c) having this would make us ... naked? The mind snatchers rule OK(*). The un-Autism syndrome.

d) The first one to think about this was probably a contemporary of Archimedes - or older;) Mean to say, we're not exactly original, are we? Of course, it's a lot of fun.

regards

dj

(*): use case: riding along in the sub, daydreaming about my Lolita (it's those years you know). And some old lady comes up all crimson in her face and handbags me twice - wang bang - without saying a word. I know (we all know) what she's thinking.

On, no, even better: Dorian Gray, last chapter, suddenly creeps into my thoughts. And the lady (the same lady, she sits across the aisle) closes her eyes and a smug, faint smile flies over her face.
