There will be rapid developments in solar in coming years. Efficienies at converting light and heat energy into useful electricity will approach 50%. Nanotechnology is going to really push solar forward. I'll see if I can put together a primer for the thread on nanotech solar research. Some of the advancements are very interesting. Such as taking advantage of a wider range of the visible and invisible spectrum.
