<the strange unraveling of IRA credibility began in a bar in Central Belfast .... doors in this country are being slammed on the Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams.>

The IRA had no credibility for me from 1974 when I first met their actions face to face in London. However, they did retain a sliver of respect for a while in that they actually gave warnings of explosions to reduce injury and death. But they gave up on that too.

It has been obvious for decades that they are nothing more than garden variety neighbourhood thugs, which are in all communities.

Now, they are showing up in their true colours, unadulterated by any pretence of a reasonable political position. When they reached the nadir of their horrors with the Omagh murders, it should have been obvious to all what they are about. Sure, they tried to segment their approach with Real IRA, IRA and Sinn Fein but they are birds of a feather and like any murderous criminal conspirators should be hung together whether they actually lit the fuse or just [knowingly] supplied the money for the explosives.

The "knowingly" lets off the hook those dupes in the USA who apparently thought they were supporting orphanages for children or something.

I wonder if Gerry Adams will look back on his life and see a world of achievement or will he see what he has done and be aghast? The Adolfs, Stalins, Saddams, Osamas, Idis and Gerrys don't seem to feel aghast or have introspective processes. I doubt they feel anything much. Psychopaths! Good riddance to them.
