Ted, How is that related to the issue of gay marriage?

Gay marriage is being legalized through the courts on the concept of "equal protection." The problem is that a LOT of acts can be legalized on the basis of "equal protection."

If the courts basically say something like, "I think marriage should be defined as the union between two consenting adults no matter what their sexual orientation," then at least they'd be intellectually honest, if not standing on strong legal grounds. Instead, they overextend the concept of "equal protection," not realizing or caring that they are opening up the floodgates for other acts that society have not yet deemed acceptable behavior.
