That's interesting for me because I suffer (a little) from a mild case of colitis that after many experiments with very expensive drugs like Asacol is now easily controlled with a 20mg pred about once a week. Is there any evidence of infection being the underlying cause of a condition like colitis that is controlled with an immune suppressor?
