I have no intention of judging you one way or the other. I'm just trying to evaluate what you are saying. I'm no fan of Wolfowitz, Feith, Pearle, Abrams, Kissinger or any other creep who drives this nation into imperial and murderous adventures.

But you said not only are there too many Jewish Americans in the Bush administration, but "throughout the government." What determines dual loyalty? And what nationalities are suspect? Were all previous administrations that supported Israel unduly influenced by pro-Israel moles? What about members of congress? If a Jewish senator votes to appropriate funds to Israel, is that a suspicious act of "dual loyalty?"

I'm not suggesting that breaking the law by passing intelligence to a foreign government should be excused. But really, 45 years ago we had a discussion in this country about whether a Catholic could be President. If a Jew in the administration can be accused of dual loyalty, what about the Catholics?

When Eliot Abrams lied to Congress about Iran-Contra, or when any other figures subvert law, morality, foreign policy, democracy here or elsewhere or any other national or international standards for the sake of some ad hoc agenda, they are not accused of dual loyalty to Somosa, Pinochet or some other murderous regime. They are not accused of being un-American. They are simply criminals.
