All,

Here is Herb's explanation for Cube's rise:

sfgate.com

If I understand shorting against the box correctly it means that once an investor has gained some money by going long (or short), if he doesn't want to take his capital gains, he basically performs the opposite action thereby 'locking' in his gains. He then does this until he dies and passes the gains to his heir where capital gains previously were not taxed. Did I get this right. Does anyone believe this is what is happening with CUBE (and IOM).

Thank

Steve
