Cary,

IMO, we are seeing value players showing up at this point. I believe KOSS was a buyer a couple of weeks ago when we saw blocks of 5k shares trading in the $10 range. I know that they have bought some shares during this period because I was told that by their CEO when I met with him last month. However, we won't know for certain how many shares they bought this quarter until the end of the quarter when they release their 10-Q.

However, based on my assessment of Michael Koss (CEO) and his style, I don't believe that KOSS is the primary player currently buying the stock. I think they'll wait and see if the price comes down. I would expect them to "support" the price if it declines rather than "push" the price up with aggressive purchases.

One reason I believe that value investors are showing up is because I know that I'm buying (and how much) and I'm in the category of a value investor. With the stock as thinly traded as it is, it only takes a few value investors or one value mutual fund to see this type of activity when there are few sellers.

I have a feeling that if everyone watching this thread who has been a buyer over the past few weeks compared purchase/sales logs, we'd be able to account for much of the activity ourselves.
