I think inflation is a little higher than the stated BLS rate (because of the rent equivalency calculation), but not much higher. I may be alone on this thread with that thought.

Looking forward, I think the price of energy is starting to feed into inflation and we will see a steady increase in prices with one exception: wages. Real wages have been flat for four years (negative if you assume higher inflation). I think real wages will be negative this year.

What do you think on inflation?
