The republicans have become the no tax and spend party. Very dangerous course of action for our economy. I agree with you on this. Bush never seems to block spending if given a chance. This is one of my major complaints about him. Cutting taxes on dividends helps very few people, and this money is reinvested, not spent in the economy as is claimed. What worries me is that Red China owns many of our bonds and is financing us. Not good no matter how one slices it. Military expenditures are up, social spending is down. Unfortunately, at this time in history, my belief is that this is simply the way it has to be.
