"There must be a way to deal with the spent fuel. France seems to be doing it." Curious: where is France putting it's spent fuel? What's the cost of storing it for 100,000+ years do you think? Has anyone in the world yet figured out the cost for safely disposing of the contaminated reactor vessel and surrounding structures (not just the fuel!) at the end-of-life for the production facility?
