Thanks, I hadn't heard that expression before. As you say, it's similar to apartheid, which was also, in its day, given God's blessing.
But is it really as simplistic as religiously inspired ethnic cleansing -- something like SA or former Yugoslavia? There are only about 5 million Jews in Israel, 12 million in the world, and getting fewer every year. In contrast, there are about 1.5 billion Muslims and getting more all the time. The Israelis cannot physically hope to occupy the lands in the Mid East or anywhere else they lay claim to. In fact, they have long ago lost the demographic battle, even against the Palestinians.
Could it not be that the US has an imperialistic agenda quite apart from the Zionistic one which is being made use of, almost as a subterfuge, at the moment? If the plan fails, the Zionists and neocons are blamed, as the Jews were in Nazi Germany. If it succeeds, the US takes the credit for bringing "democracy" to Islam, Halliburton, Bechtel & Co clean up, George bush is sanctified -- and the Jews can go to temple and say their prayers because Israel was "saved"! |
