As the Abu Ghraib story was breaking in April, 2003, Roger Ailes, the head of Fox News, sent down a memo to his newsreaders and pundits. What he said was that certain media outlets would be criticizing the Bush Crime Family for torturing innocent people, but that Fox News would certainly be turning a blind eye to the Bush involvement in torture.

Then and now, Fox News has made light of the very real pain and suffering imposed on the victims of overwrought, pig-headed fascist torture being carried out in U.S. run facilities and by means of "rendition" of prisoners to convenient Muslim torturers:
