Integration was a good thing. That being accepted doesn't say anything about any other issue. The point would only be worthwhile to raise if I had claimed that any thing that is unpopular or electorally unsuccessful was automatically wrong. Racial integration and gay marriage are similar issues. The rights of a minority are being marginalized. That runs counter to what the constitution prescribes. Its why GOP lawyers have told the right that the gay marriage constitutional amendment as proposed will be declared unconstitutional. ted
