LOL. No, the most disturbing thing was the grinding dehumanization. I always react very strongly against any dehumanization I encounter. Funny, I didn't even notice a gender thing, or, if I did, I don't remember having done so.

What I remember most about the movie was Beethoven's 6th, a piece that inexplicably was unfamiliar to me prior to having seen the movie. I may have romanticized that scene too much owing to the contrast with the miserable life outside the euthanasia center, but it has always struck me as the perfect way to go. I think that a perfect, humanistic world would offer that option.
